This is your invitation to do life a little differently.
Hey, I’m Jo
Quietly unconventional designer and coach for the wild-hearted humans who don’t fit into neat boxes. I’m here to help you craft a business that feels as expansive and multi-layered as you are.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet - a space for quietly unconventional, multi-passionate souls who want to shape a life and business on their own terms.
If that sounds like you, you’re exactly where you need to be.
Whether you’re neurodivergent (hey, fellow late-diagnosed ADHDer here!) or simply overflowing with ideas and passions, I see you.
Maybe you’ve been told you have to pick one thing, one path, one purpose, but deep down, you know that’s never really fit. You’re not a “just one thing” person. And that’s not a flaw - it’s what makes you unique.
And the truth is, you can be all of who you are, and still build a business and life that feels free and fulfilling.
My Journey to Creating a Life on My Own Terms
Everything I’ve just said could have been written for my past self.
Fifteen years ago, I was ticking the boxes of what life was “supposed” to look like - successful career, professional title, solid 9-5 routine. I was working as an architect but feeling completely out of alignment. I was a chronic people-pleaser, afraid to express my true self, desperately trying to squeeze myself into a version of success that didn’t fit.
As I slowly shifted focus, I dreaded being asked, “So, what do you do?” because I never had a neat answer.
It took years to realise that being multi-passionate isn’t a weakness - it’s actually the thread that makes everything I create meaningful.
When you embrace your different skills and interests and notice the subtle overlaps, they come together to form something completely unique. That’s what helps you stand out from the crowd, and it’s what I want to help you embrace.
In 2012, I walked away from my career, took a deep dive into wellness and creativity, and started experimenting…
Initially blogging plant-based recipes, and freelancing as a food photographer, then becoming a Certified Health Coach, teaching fitness classes at my local gym, launching my design services as well as launching my own health food brand: Boost Your Bowl where I created everything myself — from the recipes to the branding, design, photography, and packaging — and I loved the whole process.
I didn’t have a clear direction, but I was chasing what lit me up.
But I also found myself spinning too many plates without the structure I needed to sustain it all and something had to give.
That experience taught me that I needed to build a business that supported how I wanted to live - not just what I wanted to do.
In 2016, I began working with a business coach, trained more deeply in personal development (including as a Firewalking Instructor, yep true story), and slowly began designing a new kind of life.
As lockdown hit, I made a big shift - closing my food brand, officially getting my ADHD diagnosis and finally committing to building a fully remote, values-led design business.
That’s also when I took time to self-build my camper van, a project that would come to symbolise the freedom and possibility of living life on my own terms. In 2021 I started living nomadically, working on the road throughout the UK and Europe.
Since then, I’ve been on a mission to help fellow creatives, adventurers, and wellness entrepreneurs embrace their multi-passionate nature, honour their values, and build authentic, life-first businesses - wherever they are in the world.
Owning Your Unconventional Journey
I guess this might sound brave and inspiring on the surface. But the truth? It’s been messy.
There were countless moments of doubt, fear, overwhelm and not knowing the next step. I’ve questioned myself, started over, chased too many ideas, procrastinated hard, and dropped balls along the way. And I still do.
But it’s through the messy that the magic happens.
When you’re navigating transition - especially if you’re doing life a little differently and you haven’t got a map to follow - it can feel isolating and uncertain, and often a little terrifying.
That’s where I come in.
I’m here to hold space for you to be your full, authentic self, even when things feel messy. To remind you of your power, your potential, and to help you build a life and business that honours all of who you are.
You don’t need to wait until it all makes sense. You just need to start from where you are, with what you’ve got — and I’ll help you weave the pieces together.
